About RTPDP-2021

Parallel and distributed Processing is under development for many years, linking with different research and application trends such as cloud computing, data center networks, green computing, etc. Nowadays the theory, design, analysis, evaluation, techniques, and application of parallel and distributed processing systems are still flourishing, to match the increasing requirements on high efficiency, reliability, and energy saving in the global economy. To exhibit current developments and address challenges in theory, technology, and applications evolving in this viable field, we organize an International Conference on Recent Trends in Parallel and Distributed Processing techniques (RTPDP-2021). The primary goal of this conference is to provide a platform for researchers, scientists, industry experts, and scholars to share their novel ideas and research results on the application of human cognition models in various practical computing applications. The objective of this conference is to publish and outline recent trends in the interdisciplinary area of parallel and distributed computing, applications, and technologies. Through this conference, the organizers would like to develop an interdisciplinary venue to contribute and discuss the ongoing innovations, applications, and solutions to challenging problems of engineering human brain processes, learning mechanisms, and decision-making processes.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is headed by Dr. Lakshmanan. M and has 34 faculty members who have received their PG and Ph.D. degrees from top-notch universities. The faculty members of this department are consistently doing well in teaching and research. The department offers B.Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering) with 180 intake.

B.Tech programmes attract the brightest students of the state every year. The placement record of the department has always been impressive. Almost 100% of the students get jobs from campus placement and many of them are getting it in core companies every year. We encourage the students to do design and research-based projects during their B.Tech degrees. The department has state-of-the-art laboratories in almost all the areas of Electronics and Communication that have the latest simulation tools to cater to various specializations and is equipped with facilities for measurement, characterization, and synthesis of experimental as well as theoretical results. The department has organized several guest lectures, short-term training programmes, workshops, seminars, symposiums, and conferences in the field of Electronics and Communication. The department is actively involved in R&D activities regularly publish their research in reputed Journals and Conferences. The research areas include Wireless Communication and Networks, Microwave Engineering, Antenna design, VLSI Design, Signal and Image Processing, Communication Engineering, and Embedded systems.
